The California Wilderness Coalition protects the natural landscapes that make California unique, providing clean air and water, a home to wildlife, and a place for recreation and spiritual renewal. CWC is the only organization dedicated to protecting and restoring California's wild places and native biodiversity on a statewide level. Since 1976, we have empowered local communities and conservationists to be the voice for wild California.

Let's break away from the bars (and, okay, sometimes also go to bars) and have some real fun.  ALL 20-something queer-identified folk (and their friends) are enthusiastically welcomed.  My hope is to develop a sense of community through recurring events.  Some ideas for events include potlucks, game nights, movies, hikes, club nights, and happy hours.  If you have any ideas, please suggest them!  Activities take place mainly in Oakland, and sometimes in Berkeley and San Francisco.

Our group has existed in the Bay Area since 1981. We are committed to desert conservation and we lead trips to these beautiful wild places.
